Metal / Aluminium Prints
Our Fusion-Art prints on metal are produced by infusing inks directly onto specially coated aluminium sheets. The result is a vivid, high-contrast image with a sleek, contemporary finish. Aluminium prints are lightweight, scratch resistant, UV resistant, moisture-resistant, and incredibly durable — ideal for modern interiors. Our metal prints are delivered ready to hang.
Inks & Colour Accuracy
We use professional-grade pigment inks across all our print formats. Pigment inks offer superior colour accuracy and longevity compared to dye-based alternatives, with a lifespan of 100+ years under normal display conditions. Colours are calibrated to match the original artwork as closely as possible.
Made in the UK
Every print is produced in the UK by our specialist print partners. We do not hold stock — each piece is made to order, ensuring the freshest possible print quality and minimising waste. Typical production time is 2–4 working days before dispatch.
Caring for Your Print
Canvas prints should be kept away from direct sunlight and high humidity. Dust gently with a soft dry cloth — avoid water or cleaning products. Aluminium prints can be wiped clean with a slightly damp cloth. Both formats are designed to last a lifetime with minimal care.
Sizing Guide
All sizes listed on our site refer to the finished print dimensions (width × height). For canvas prints, this includes the depth of the wooden stretcher frame. We recommend measuring your wall space before ordering and considering the surrounding furniture and room proportions when choosing a size. Wall Art Advice and Help: The Correct Materials: Much of the time, you can choose your art print either Canvas or Aluminium without worrying about materials. Some rooms and print placements require planning to keep your art looking its best, the main culprits are moisture and sunlight. UV Light & Fading: Direct sunlight is the biggest threat to artwork prints over time. Prolonged UV exposure can fade colours, especially in works on paper such as watercolours, and on canvas and certain paint pigments. If you’re placing art near windows, use a UV-protective glass for framed pieces, close blinds or curtains in peak sun hours, or opt for a wall that doesn’t receive direct sunlight. Oil and acrylic paintings tend to be more resilient, but no art benefits from being exposed to harsh afternoon sun year-round. Bathrooms & Moisture: Aluminium handles bathroom humidity better than painting on canvas or paper. If you wish to use canvas or framed paper prints you need to keep art away from direct shower spray and moisture ensuring your bathroom has good ventilation. Kitchens: Heat, moisture, and cooking splatter make kitchens one of the most challenging areas for art prints on canvas, it can be gently cleaned if needed. But if you wish to hang art prints in the kitchen aluminium and glass or ceramic is without doubt the best medium. Mixing Different Styles and Subjects: Your art collection doesn’t need to be a similar art style within the same space, an abstract piece can coexist with a landscape. What matters more than matching styles is choosing pieces you genuinely connect with. Personal taste is what will make your collection feel cohesive over time, even if the individual works vary in style or subject. Does Art Need to Be Framed: Art works on paper such as watercolours or drawings, always need framing for protection. Paintings on canvas don’t require frames. Some buyers love the clean look of an unframed canvas, while others prefer the polish a frame provides. Art prints on metal, ceramic and glass, do not need a frame it entirely up to you and your personal taste. What Is the Meaning of Stretched: Stretched canvas means the fabric has been pulled taut and secured over a frame, making it ready to hang. Un-stretched canvas is loose fabric that needs professional mounting before display, typically these canvases will be shipped in a tube. Stretching and Framing Costs: Stretching and framing canvas can be quite expensive depending on size. Custom framing can cost from £70 to several hundred, depending on the frame size, quality, protective glass etc. If you have a concern, use standard-size frames or simpler option and do it yourself, larger frames can become more difficult to source. Ready-To-Hang Options: Art retailers offer pieces that come stretched, finished, and equipped with hanging hardware. No frame needed. Look for work described as “ready to hang” or “framed” to get your art on the wall faster. The most important thing to remember is buy what you love. The right artwork for your home is the one that resonates with you, start with one piece that excites you, place it somewhere you’ll see it daily, and let it transform your space. That’s how a house becomes a home filled with art you love. What Size Art Should I Buy? Getting the size right is one of the biggest concerns, but it’s more intuitive than you might think. The goal is to choose a piece that feels balanced in the space you decide. If you are going to hang further art in the same space, you need to be sure the new artwork blends in with the existing artwork. Too small the artwork can get lost, but not too large to overwhelm the wall. Hanging Art at The Correct Height: The guideline is to hang the art, so the centre of the piece is at eye level, typically around 57-60 inches from the floor. If you’re hanging art above furniture, the relationship to that furniture matters more than a strict measurement.
